New York Fashion Week may be drawing to a close, but fashion week is far from over. London, Milan and Paris are the next stops on a fashion week itinerary that’s decidedly international in flavor. Called The “Big Four”, the events are held around the globe biannually in September and February. With the NYC leg of this September’s Fashion Week almost complete, fashion's elite and industry insiders have their bags packed and ready for more Spring/Summer ‘17 collections. Here’s what’s ahead:

London Fashion Week starts on Friday and runs through Sept. 20th. Count on 83 designers showcasing their SS '17 collections across the five-day event. And, there will be more than 150 designers showing at The Designer Showrooms at Brewer Street Car Park.The schedule includes established brands like Topshop Unique and Vivienne Westwood Red Label, as well as emerging labels like Le Kilt and Phoebe English. Many offsite events are held as well at places like Golden Square and Carnaby Street. The show is organized by the British Fashion Council and the London Development Agency.

Milan Fashion Week runs from Sept. 21-Sept. 27 this year. Look for a schedule of 68 designers that includes Blumarine, Uma Wang and Emporio Armani. With the vibrancy of Milan as its backdrop, shows have been held at different locations around the city since 1958, including Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Serbelloni. This year, the show’s organizers, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), announced that the UniCredit Pavilion will serve as the fashion hub for the show with an Accreditation Desk, VIP Lounge, Press Office and a new CNMI project to support emerging bands.

Paris Fashion Week is the grand finale of the Big Four each season. This year, the event falls between Sept. 27- Oct. 5. It’s organized by the French Fashion Federation and has been held bi-annually since 1973 at the Carrousel du Louvre, along with other venues around the city. Close to 90 designers are included in the official show, including Balenciaga, Lanvin and Alexander McQueen. In addition to ready-to-wear designers, the event also showcases haute-couture collections and menswear.
